Abstract

Minocycline belongs to tetracycline group of antibiotics and is a commonly used antibiotics for acne vulgaris. Hyperpigmentation is a well-recognized side effect of Minocycline therapy with different variance, involving essentially all types of tissues. We report a case of a 70 year-old male with Type II minocycline induced pigmentation as a consequence of long term minocycline therapy.
